Lockjaw
Anyone know a good company to remove this nightmare knotweed in Sheffield. You may wish to contact forum member seanF. He's a Japanese Knotweed removal specialist.
Chez2
It is a complex organism that is difficult to kill. If you do not want to use weed killers then you have to remove the soil and put all the material though a bio digester. That would cost literally tens of thousands of pounds. Of course weed killers aren't healthy that is the whole point. Its usually landfilled many meters down. I used to work for a landfill company. I'm sure knotweed soil had to be put into an area something like 4 meters below the surface and covered immediately so nothing could blow around. It could possibly go to a soil treatment facility but I've never heard of it being treated in a digester. Re-Lease Me
What is your opinion if Japanese Knotweed was found 6 foot away from your property? And the property is of Timber build, is the Knotweed likely to be in the foundations etc! ???
