I am very confused now,drivers don't seem to know if they're striking on Sunday as well.Sunday i think is Fright Night which First sponsor and the word is they will get an injunction against it.The unions are in talks Monday and Tuesday.This is all from horses mouths.

Bus Strikes Starting This Weekend

 

Unfortunately the Unite Union has informed First they will be taking further strike action. No First bus services will be operating in South Yorkshire on the following dates:

 

Friday 23rd October

Monday 26th October

 

In addition separate strike action will take place in Sheffield ONLY. Most First bus services will not be operating in Sheffield on:

 

 

Sunday 25th October

Saturday 31st October

 

Please note that the certain services will be running on these 2 days as they are operated by Rotherham depot. Full details to follow.

 

 

Any customer who has purchased a First Weekly or Monthly ticket which is valid for the 23rd or 26th October will be entitled to free First Day tickets to compensate for the loss of travel on these dates. Any customer who has purchased a Sheffield First Weekly or Sheffield Monthly ticket which is valid on 25th or 31st October will be entitled to free First Day tickets to compensate for the loss of travel on these dates.

 

To claim your free First Day tickets for use anytime, please send in your expired weekly or monthly ticket to the dedicated claim address below with your full name and address details and one will be posted out to you.
