pathman   10 #1 Posted November 5, 2008 to the niqab wearing driver of the Ford people carrier, that has just attempted a three-point turn in S9 and knocked off the wing mirror and dented the door of the parked BMW ...  you may have thought that you could just drive off like that, if you even noticed in that gear, but rest assured I have just put details of your reg number and my phone number under the wiper blade of the BMW.
 Share this content via...

brianthedog   10 #6 Posted November 5, 2008 She must be very religious to be in that garb, yet comfortable in driving off having committed a crime. Some people really are incredible!
 Share this content via...

Treatment   10 #8 Posted January 21, 2009 Are you sure it was a Niqab ? It might have been someone using a pillar box as a disguise.
 Share this content via...

Perhaps that's who Chris De Burgh was droning on about?  I hope the police are going to keep an eye out for this driver. It annoys the hell out of me to think that there's people driving around with false plates (i.e. uninsured, untaxed and more likely than not in need of an MOT). boyfriday   21 #10 Posted January 21, 2009 just an update. had a call from the lady thanking me for my help, but predictably the registration number doesn't exist.  ..maybe you recorded it incorrectly pathman? Number plate recognition cameras in police cars would identify fake plates pretty quickly, in any event the person found driving the vehicle would be apprehended at the scene and face serious charges, so I guess thats some compensation. The other driver didn't speak English, he just pulled out a roll of banknotes and handed over £200 which my collegue accepted because he didn't know what else to do.  What would have happened if it was a serious accident dog only knows.
