Nah, only kidding. The have done well to get to the play offs, not many teams could have done that with -15pts at the start of the season. I'm looking forward to a summer of MotoGP, British Superbikes and World Superbikes so until the start of next season I'll have plenty to occupy me. If i was a manager and win loose or draw make no odds at this stage i'd put on a show and that's what people got, a 5 goal belter of a match. The players gave it all on both sides and who would ask for more ? igm1 Posted May 4, 2008 Share Posted May 4, 2008 You're right about the lucky comments. Wednesday deserve congratulations for determining their own fate during the last game of the season. The win ensured that whatever other teams did had no bearing on the Owls final fate. I can't fathom how anyone can class a 4-1 win as lucky and even as a Blade fan I think that sour grapes are definitely not in order. Credit where credit is due. Darn right. My Dad had a bet that: Southampton would win (they did) Leicester would draw (they did!) Norwich would beat Wednesday (they didn't, thank god!) Just to ease the pain of relegation.
