This is a bit of a long shot but here goes. On the 22nd of June this year at around 08.30hrs I had an accident on the Shalesmoor round about. I had travelled down Hoyle St in a dark grey Peugeot 5008,I got into the right hand lane to travel back the other side of Hoyle St. Whilst at the traffic lights before heading back up to the exit at Hoyle St I became aware of a Green Fiesta which had joined at the Penistone Rd entry and was in my left hand lane. I indicated to leave the roundabout using the second lane on Hoyle St (which was in keeping with the road markings) when the third party pulled across me and into the near side of my car. The third party has refused to take any responsibility for this and I'm currently looking at a 50/50 claim, an expensive excess and loss of no claims, all for something that wasn't my fault. A massive appeal to all the good folks of Sheffield. Recently 2 of my friends have been touched by cancer and as a way of helping I am going to undertake the three peaks challange, for those who don't know what it is, its a 24.5 mile trek across the Dales covering three of yorkshires highest peaks, the aim is to do it in under 12hrs for my friends chosen charity which is Barnsly Hospice. The police state there is little they can do without a witness as its one word against the other. In the case of my friend,the Asian chap came off worse.

What im saying is some years ago a friend of mine was sentanced to 9 months in prison for beating a person of Asian origin,this was self defence as the chap inquestion attacked my friend.However he played the race card and said my friend attacked him.What im saying is if my brother had attacked the black 18 year old lad,chargers would have been brought without question.

Cheers mate.My brother would be better if the police hadn't dropped chargers,it appears the people who wittnessed it wont give evidence.It really bugs me,if my brother had attacked a innocent person of black origin then he would have been locked up and the keys would have been thrown away.Its shocking.:rant:

Regardless if he was wearing a shirt or not,it doesn't mean he should be a target for physical abuse.

I hope he names and shames the lot of them,we might just start to move forward once the people in question have no place to hide.BRING IT ON.
