Fine by me - as I've stated elsewhere on the forum I'm currently building a half-man half badger creature out of old body parts in my own shed, so I appreciate anyone who has an unusual hobby.

I must say i am in complete agreement.

 

Sheds should be used correctly whether that be storing your garden wherewithalls or the burning of your QC husband alive after he has told you he's leaving you.

Not necessarily - a lot of this type of magazine give up the ghost when sales slump too much and just stop publishing. So you could be robbed for just one and a half years and end up with just over a half of your model train.

 

Think of the trauma that would cause - sheds would be going up in flames all over the country as subscribers simply couldn't cope with the withdrawal symptoms!

Has anyone seen this advert to build a model train that has been appearing on the TV recently?

 

Apparently to complete it you have to buy 125 issues, at a cost of £4.99 each!

 

So it takes almost two a half years at a cost of £625 - bargain, where do I sign up?

 

Surely it'd be cheaper to simply go on ebay and buy a model train that someone else has already built that's at least ten times cheaper!
