do not even contemplate debt concolidation companies or financial advisers that charge. the fee could be used elsewhere - i am talking fthrough experience both personal and via clients. personal protection insurance is useful for year one - however most companies would listen to your condition and arrangements could be made for that year anyway. if your credit is not a problem -try moving things around. unfortunately if its not then knuckle down & reduce whatever debts you can. just gone through the same procedure so my wife can change jobs & drop 4k a year.

once did this & got a speeding ticket - cops followed on to the motorway & pulled me instantly. 60mph on slip road - apparently until u pass the "motorway regualtions" sign or merge its the same speed as a normal road i.e 30mph. it was 17 or 18 years a ago so may have changed since then.

they may not have seen you, however they have no legal obligation to permit you to enter the motorway or junction. the onus is on "you" to merge safely with the flow of traffic not the other way round.

im afraid its a valid point regardless of speed & part of the highway code, so it shouls be adhered too the same as indicating before turning etc. if as the op stated they were being undertaken - then the lane to their left is obviously free. you should pull across as soon as you complete your manouvre, obviously this could involve anumber of cars, in which case the likelihood of being undertaken is reduced. undertaking is not ilegal if the driver does not pull out i front of you. i.e they are allowed to drive past you on the inside lane, but not allowed to instantly pull in front of you.

sky+ have just been upgrading all the listing pages,changing the planner buton etc. i had the sam eproblem but just went through the reboot twice and it sorted it out. i did have problems with my second set , but i found that the bloody house rabbit had chewed through the scart lead.

you appear to have misinterpreted my posts, i never offered my comments to support docking, they were posted to explain why dogs were originally docked - when men were men and everything was legal. if you are going to be childish with comments like teach it not to wag, it's obvious why you didn't understand the point of the post. if you read all my posts i explained why breed standards are like they are, yes it would be good to change them but it would be good if sf posters had manners but you haven't so we have to put up with that as well. your boxer dog has been bred & manipulated to be a docile pet, 15years ago they were being put down for bad tempers and even 10 years ago for being born white. things have changed & i'm sure docking will be stopped. by the way hunting with dogs includes more than chasing Basil Brush round a field.you're either not intelligent enough to comprehend that, not old enough to know better, trolling, or just wasting peoples time in clarifying questions.

not being argumentative but GSD's were not bred for Search & Rescue they were bred & used to shepherd cattle & sheep, their coat was protection from the climate. they have had behaviour modification by breeding to make them a versatile pet,similarly Springers werent bred as drug dogs they were bred to "spring" prey. a tail doesn't matter searching for drugs but it probably did when they were first usedin the fields.

agree totally. but it still doesn't remove the historically validated reasons for the inception of docking. obviously the original dogs that were used to catologue breed standards were docked & this continued into the show ring. there have been countless genetic modifications made to dogs by cross breeding to achieve modern standards, perhaps they should be allowed to resort to type,and the only safe dog then would be a mongrel.

didnt know if you were being sarcastic or not but i'll answer anyway. boxer dogs had the tails removed for several reasons including removing an object that can be grabbed by other fighting dogs,badgers etc.it was maintained to give the dog a "nasty" appearance (ie. no waggy tail)The SS widely used the boxer as guard dogs. certain other "fighting" dog breeds had them removed for eaxctly the same reason. cocker spaniels & springer spaniels were docked to prevent the old chestnut of scaring prey & getting caught.don't forget we are talking historically when groundcover etc was not a planted woodland or manicured lawn. jack russells & dachsunds similarly were docked to prevent them getting caught whilst earning their living ratting etc. there are also other traits that are now unnecessary in modern dogs, but that doesn't remove the original reasons & validity for them.

and unless you use the dog for its intended purpose or are a stickler for breed standards then IMHO there are no valid reasons for docking family pets.

unfortunately historical evidence validates docking of tails on certain breeds, for the reasons stated by posters.they are all i have stated & nothing else. therefore your criticisms based on your experience & opinions do not accept the validity of the practice and purely ridicule people who have stated fact & not emotion. i have 2 docked & 3 undocked dogs, personally we preferred not to have the last 3 pups docked. Why? 'cos they aren't either working or show dogs & therefore the need for docking was irrelevant. however the reasons for docking still stand in the history books whether you or i like it or not. as for being touchy,don't think i am.but then again i can appreciate other peoples opinions without ridiculing them. if you think about it realistically if your boxer was being used for it's intended purpose & not as "family" member you would understand why docking was used. if you can't see the reasons perhaps you might try reading a few history books.
