Hi. After trying to get more info regarding a facility at Hillsborough children's centre, I've been informed its closed. What a shame. When did this happen? And why? Just due to cuts or following the bad Ofsted?
I'm going to Shooters Groce instead, but just curious about Hillsborough.
Last I heard was that the owners of Harios had bought the building with the intention of transforming it into a Harios foodie place. But the parking was inadequate and so permission denied.
I assumed they were digging out to increase the size of the car park
It's only liquids that need to be put in clear plastic bags. Those snacks you listed are fine in your hand luggage. We took loads recently for our 2 kids - sandwiches, sweets, fruit, raisins, biscuits
The place is very badly run. The staff are slow and unhelpful (I worked in a soft play when I was younger so appreciate the mundanity of the job, but still), something as simple as getting a hugely overpriced drink takes an eternity, and the manageress is openly rude about her own staff and customers. My children go if they've been invited to a party but that's it. And I'd advise anyone to avoid especially after reading this info re first aid
Parent and toddler spaces are not next to the entrances. Distance is not the issue so pleaw don't throw in that crap argument.
It's about the size of the space
I'm in S35 and as of recently I also get no BBC. I've rescanned, wiped everything and scanned from new, unplugged anything which may interfere...
Nothing works!
I think you're unlikely to get into Oughtibridge as you're not in catchment. Doesn't stop you applying but just think carefully about it, it could cost you a place in a preferred school
I'm at Fairlawns and its fine. They now do same day appts (rather than the old triage system) if you call early enough - around 815. I've no complaints
