Hi There, no not done any doorstep checks, Thought the postings would be a good Idea, our daughter has exiting clients, friends & relatives in S35, but I have no objection to doing some door knocking to find out. The thing is that leaflet drops do work & with all the wasted time now its too late in the year to re leaflet. I suppose it depends on who they use to distribute, if they were printed, they must have been dumped by now. Cheers Paul

Hi There, that was the reason for the posting on the Sheffield Forum, got some silly answers but some people came back on the forum & on Facebook. Not had anyone in the S35 area so far that has had one. According to the leaflet company 10,000 would only cover half of S35, but there has not been one response from the area & according to my research all the people I have contacted have not had a leaflet. Just a few & I estimate no more than 300 in the wrong target area. I am old school & when you do a job you do it properly. Given the right response & we only expected 1% to 1.5% we would have leafleted another area so this not doing the job properly does not work. Thanks for the reply Paul

Thanks for the reply, Claire is starting a complaint to recover her money from the printing / distribution people. She paid for 10,000 we expected 100 to 150 leads from that & that would have been acceptable. I recon no more than 300 went out with just 3 leads from it. Hi There - leaflets do normally work, but it looks like this company was a failure its the first time Claire used them. Paid £500 for 10,000 leaflets printed A5 colour both sides & distributed. We have only had 2 replies & from the wrong area. Its a pain when you pay for a job & its not done properly. BUT please note Claire used the PayPal option & paid on her business visa so there is ax excellent case for a refund Cheers Paul

Yep I agree but when you give a company the job & have to pre pay the job should be done. Claire has toning beds & chairs & beauty tanning spray tanning etc so she attracts ladies that would not normally attend a gym. The rest of the services attract ladies of all ages. THANKS for the replies - the newspaper ads don't work anymore, the yellow pages the same, you have to find out what works & leaflets are one of the best. We should have had 10,000 in S35 Ecclesfield & Chapletown. FORTUNATELY my daughter paid using the Pay pal option so if we can find out that there were non delivered we should get a refund. The road is long & winding & ALWAYS UPHILL

Can anyone in the S35 area give me some help please. I am looking for some help from the people of the S35 area. Our daughter has recently paid to have leaflets distributed in this area to promote her business. Business is hard as with so many places so we try to improve where we can. Claire has pre paid for leaflet distribution in S35 but we have had no response from your area. This is so unfair when you pay for a service and it is not given. Could you please contact me if you have - or indeed have NOT had a leaflet thro your door saying "LOSE INCHES NOW ASK US HOW" All I need is your street name & post code.
