Hi folks, having a few issues with freeview. One tv with inbuilt wont tune in channels on the itv 1 and channel 4 band, and the other tv with a freeview box tunes in channels in a funny order. itv 1 being on 1, bbc 1 being on 5 6 or something like that. Is this due to the season or something? just started happening recently after the message popped up on bbc 1 telling you to retune (something to do with red button or some such rubbish) Areal on the roof is set up like main for downstairs one wire coming off it, then a second areal is attached under it for the upstairs with 2 wires coming off it. Only one of those wires is used though. not sure if that helps in finding out what's going on or not. Question while we are here, what happened to the end of March switch over? I think it was mentioned on here a while ago.

Wow this topic turned to rubbish quick didn't it? Back on topic; BBQs are fine, I have them myself during summer. Easy to tell the difference, smell of food (dur). Fires though.... very annoying the people that do it seem to think they are the only thing in existence in the whole area.

So it's coming onto summer time again, and to get some air into the house we have our windows open. And as usual for around this time of year, some moron is burning things in their back yard and filling the neighbourhood with the smell of smoke, and in turn; my house. I'm sure I am not the only one that has their windows open today. why do people do this? Windows closed now obviously.

Tried kaspersky a couple of years ago, just after I paid for a copy (lucky me!) had some major flaws. Rubbish suite, wish I had evaluated it more before I wasted £35 on it. As for this avast thing, this never happened to me, was just a few users that it happened too?

Hi folks, not even sure if this is the right place to post this. Need a little help. We have a cannon oven, which has the main oven at the bottom, then and all in one grill/oven just above that one. I'll put as many details as I can so someone can help me get to the cause of the problem. Problem: using the grill is now melting the knobs. The timer buttons have almost completely melted too. Using the grill makes the knobs too hot to turn, they are turning black/melting. A rubber seal that sits between the door of the grill came off, but can't really see this being the problem. Another family member a while ago was grilling something, using tin foil on the grill pan and the thing set on fire. They managed to put it out fine and all. Could this have burned a filter or something inside? The thing is not under warranty any more either... bah. Anyone know what the prob is?
