I'd have never thought about someone gaining access via the cellar,there must be some very thin and small burglers up there.It's made me think twice though as I keep my fishing tackle down our cellar.I don't think the criminal fraternity use this forum for tips,they are usually a step ahead,look at the thread the other day about stolen car reg plates.

I have fond memories of Forge dam when I was young,used to get the 88 Fulwood bus from the bottom of eccy road loaded with fishing tackle.It's in a sad state these days although the cafe is still good.

I always put empty bottles,jars and any other glass containers at the top of my cellar and take them to a bottle bank at the weekend.No excuse these days,there are bottle banks etc everywhere.

I've used Carnells in Crookes for years and had no problems.

I went to Barca v Racing Santander(did you choke on the scooter fumes after the game?)Real v Sevilla(suffered from virtigo) and Mallorca v Espanyol(Crap ground surrounded by a running track,in the middle of nowhere).

Bladebloke did you go to the new or old ground in Mallorca.

I'v been to 53 league grounds in England,15 of which don't exist anymore.I've been to a couple in Portugal and more than a few in Spain,although I've only watched games at Barca,Real Madrid and Mallorca.

Your right there.Boothferry park was probably the best away ground I went to that season, although saying that it did'nt have much competition.

I went to every home game and at a guess about 15-17 away,I check it out.I went to Hull(remember the old stand to the right of the away end being closed,ready for demolition) and Scunthorpe.I did'nt go to Colchester but seem to remember it was on match of the day.

I remember going to Stockport for a night game,we lost 1-0.I was 14 at the time and spent most of the game watching the planes fly into Manchester airport.

I don't know how Mr Benn finds the time,I don't come on the forum much but noticed his name on nearly every thread I looked at last night.In total he made 185 posts yesterday.

I'll bet your one of the Maltby mafia,and if the info on SYF is anything like the info you've just given me it justifies my lack of interest.

Well they must be the FEW that I mentioned.

Every time I've been on the SYF site it's always got the same people on it's forum.I friend of mine joined the site and he agreed with me,he also tried to get a permit for a stretch of the Idle and got p****d off by the person who was selling the permits.He said he kept getting messed around. I've got nothing agaisnt the SYF site,but a few fellow anglers have also told me that they think it's dominated by a few people from the Maltby area.

Crikey,I thought this thread was about what sort of sandwiches people like. Anyway,My favourite is corn beef and mustard on a burnt bottom breadcake.

Why don't you just buy the a to z,or go on to the googlemap facility.

I would'nt bother with southyorkshirefishing,it seems to be dominated by a few people from the Maltby area.I prefer yorkshirefishing.net,seems a lot more informed.
