  1. I think if you contacted the RSPCA they would send somebody out I think the dog wardens you mean are the ones that pick up stray (or flying) dogs. Good Luck like with anything its a battle to get anything sorted these days. Hope the poor flying dog doesnt get hurt one day.
  2. A big thankyou to the little <removed> who broke into our factory on Sunday. While you are having your fun smashing vans and breaking into factory you have potentially put jobs at risk in an already very risky climate. So a big well done I know it must be a task on your ever so small brains but the tools that you got away with please use them on each other, they will really hurt.
  3. Yep try the local colleges if your prepared to let trainees loose on your hair this is the place for you. They charge next to nothing I know Castle College do it as do their beauty department, you just ring up and make a booking just like you would a salon. You will be suprised how many people do go, times are hard plus it helps the trainees practise on real live customers:)Good Luck with the interview
  4. Hi, I pass these everyday and often think put some flags on somebody certainly would make them look a lot better. If my memory serves me correctly I think flags were on them when Sheffield hosted the World Student Games in 1991 (Think Ive got right date).
  5. My daughter had her prom last year and she wanted to look really special, so I was the purse that followed her lol. We got the dress from Liquorice on Ecclesall Road. There is something there for all budgets. They are made to measure, long or short in all colours. The lady that owns the shop is fantastic very professional. She will take the name of your school and if she gets anybody else in from your school and they pick the same as you it will not be sold to them therefore guarantees that nobody will have the same dress as you. If you have a long dress after the prom they will shorten it for you so that you can wear it again. They also do prom jewellery. My daughter also had a makeover at Debenhams (MAC dept), this was excellent value for money £25 and then you could choose products to the value of £25 after the makeover. I hope this helps and would like to wish you a great prom.
  6. Meadowhall have announced they are having what they call a soft closure today, Meaning they are closing many of the stores. Was in there this morning it was like ghost town but good got around in no time. HMV was the first store to pull down their shutters. Check before you go that the store you want is in fact open. The roads plus traffic around Meadowhall are fine. Good Luck keep safe everyone.
  7. Yes it will fade especially in the Summer months (if we get any this year) if you dont want to draw the curtains put a throw over it, it is worth it in the end leather suites are brill especially if looked after.
  8. My sons girlfriend gave birth a month ago and I visited her in the new Jessop Wing, first impressions well if this is progress you can keep it bring back the Old Jessops, which was run by very frightening nursing sisters but they ran those wards with military procedures, god help any of their staff if any hygiene standards were jeopardised. I thought the New Jessops was so awful I had to stop myself from taking my sons girlfriend out of there I felt so sorry for her. Not an attack on staff just the powers that be that dont put any thought into what they design, might look nice but not practical.
  9. Thanks julesmarie thought it might be something like that what worries me thought some scrote would climb in and use it as a toilet !!!!
  10. :)Can anybody tell me why when a lorry parks up for the drivers rest period or for the night some drivers open up the back of their lorries and leave it open. I know its a strange question but my kids are asking and I dont know why, so thought some helpful lorry driver out there could help. Many Thanks
  11. Hi Wentworth Garden Centre has a animal farm where you can buy food and feed the animals plus a play area really nice for young children:)
  12. Well rudeboy if your right god help us, cant see that helping. That junction is the worse one ever, talk about dice with death. My mum lives on Oakley Road and I can honestly say that junction really upsets quite a few residents. but I'm sure the powers that be will be correct in their choice of action(not)
  13. Hi there, yes they are its supposed to improve things because of the new houses (the ones you can see from the parkway)Theres a lot of traffic on Oakley Road now and reverting the road back should help. When you live on there it is a damn nuisance having to drive up and turn at the Norfolk Pub. I'm sure the people living on Hall Road agree as well.
  14. The incident that happened at the junction where you go down to Pilley happened on the 30th Dec nothing to do with this mornings incident. Really sorry for the family what a waste
  15. O2 Academy Sheffield 37 – 43 Arundel Gate, Sheffield, SW1 1DE, GB Hope this helps
