Well I guess its all about personal choice. Specific breeds often have specific traits that people like. It's not that 1 breed or a cross breed is any "better" than any other, it's just the choice of the owner. I have always had moggies, I now have pedigree cats and a moggie. All my dogs are specific breeds as they were the breeds I wanted. I'm not saying I'd never have a cross breed. I do like my pedigree cats tho as they seem more suited to living indoors and having lost cats over the years I don't want anymore cats with a desire for the outdoors
