I suppose finding a job and saving up, just like everyone else has to do, is out of the question?

Do you have any 'un-needed' out goings? (i.e going out for a meal/take out/coffee each day?)

Borrow it off the Bank of Mum and Dad?

But pay it back asap!

Invest some money buying RBS or Lloyds shares, and wait for the Government to sort them out, and the shares will rise.

Not keen on the Tights, Cucumber & Bank Idea

I work 44hrs a week and im saving up so i guess the sarcastic remark would have been better thought about considering you don't normally have chance of a mortgage without being employed

Guess i should learn not to ask

You probably shouldn't ask such a broad and obvious question then, especially without providing any real detail.

What exactly were you expecting, someone to tell you a nice spot in the woods to go and dig up gold????

I want a Ferrari and a ten bedroomed holiday home in the Bahamas, Jane. I can't afford it so it doesn't happen.

In all seriousness, what kind of replies were you expecting? Selling items you dont need seems a reasonable suggestion, as is cancelling any product/service you dont need.
