I lived on the Manor Estate on Cary Road but left for new pastures in 1957.

Does anyone remember The Lavell family on Cary Road - Father Charlie and Mother Kath - they had around 7 children ( the ones i remember are - John / Kath / Angela / Cheryl / Leonard / Steven and David ), and what ever happened to them???

i used to live on Desmond Crescent,went Pipworth Road School 1960 to 1969 Knew the Jordens and Parkes also the Sterlands lived on the Manor till 73

 

I was at Pipworth Road from 1966 to 1969, knew Graham Parkes and his brother who played for Blackburn Rovers. Other names that come to mind are Arthur Ledger, Richard Wright, Christine Heald, Carol Hibberd, Julie Twigg, Janet Swann, Paul Marshall and Linda Jepson. Lived at 2128 Alison Crescent til 1972/3.
