A cheerful subject on the forum makes a change of late......My Favourite sweet when i was little was a Sherbet Fountain or Freshers i think they were called?.

I was more of a chocolate man myself, and still am. Sweets were OK and I used to eat quite a lot of jawbreakers, but mainly I used to eat chocolate bars like caramels, crunchies, dairy milks, etc.

Cola Cubes, Wine Gums (the hard ones, not the soft rubbish that are more popular today) and those red laces covered in sugar, I can't remember their name.

Oh, and curlywurlys, although we didn't call them that.

For a transatlantic flavour: Sugar Daddys (yes, sweets ), candy corn, tootsie rolls, and Hersheys Kisses. And sugar lollys (made with cubed sugar )
