The_DADDY 3,481 #1 Posted March 26 As St George's day is on the horizon I thought I'd ask. Do you celebrate it? If so what do you do? We used to, we'd have friends around, we'd have a BBQ, drinks, music, laughs but we haven't done anything to mark it for the last 5 years or so. What about you? Do you celebrate it or just let it pass you by?
 Share this content via...

Me, I'll be looking for some Dragons to slay.
 Share this content via...

hauxwell 244 #6 Posted March 26 No I don’t do anything special. There use to be a small parade, to celebrate it, outside Sheffield Town Hall. I wonder if they still do it?
 Share this content via...

Mister M 1,632 #10 Posted March 26 I'm not especially religious so I don't celebrate St. George's Day....It's not like Christmas where there is a notable tradition. I know that St George is the patron saint of other countries (I seem to think Spain or Portugal is), might be interesting to see how other countries celebrate it. Do Scots celebrate St Andrew's and the Welsh St David's? I know that on St Partick's Day, some people who aren't even Irish go round the city centres of an evening in those tall hats drinking Guinness
 Share this content via...
