Owls Top Championship Table.

For disciplinary point that is.

The Owls are the only team in the Championship to rack up over 100 points (103), having picked up 82 yellows, two second yellows and three straight reds.

United don't have enough fight in them to get any disciplinary points 🙂

Yes they appear to have accepted their fate,  however the obstinate Owls are fighting to the last kick of the ball, which somewhat makes up for them being crap. 🙄

When in the Premier League a VAR decision can take many minutes, and still get it wrong, to me the off-side rule applies to feet, not shoulders, backsides or fingernails.

The rules have completely lost me and many others, fouls seem to be only fouls outside the area.

But its points won on the pitch that count

Better to be a mid table team with the worst disciplinary record

Than the best behaved team in the league and then get relegated,

50% of good tackles are given as fouls these days. 90% of fouls result in a yellow card.

I'm beginning to think this blue card that has been mentioned, could be introduced for the more 'ridiculous' misdemeanors that 'some' Refs dish out a yellow car for..... Borderline tackles, little shirt pulls, kicking the ball away etc, etc. Whacking the ball away? Yellow card, without a doubt. A blue card would not result in a 'Sin Bin'.

Get a blue card for nonsense stuff mentioned above, and a yellow for any repeat offence.

Issue yellows for dangerous, or cynical fouls and let the game flow.

Most yellows these days, are ridiculous decisions. The number dished out, is even more ridiculous.
