Fair enough - I very rarely travel outside the UK these days too - but I do travel widely in the UK, and believe me, southern towns/cities have similar problems.

This one always makes me laugh.   A couple of years ago a Batley teacher and his family was hounded out of his job and their home and forced to go into hiding because of death threats - all for showing his RE class an image of Mohammed.

Absolutely disgusting and they have absolutely no rights to be on the streets of Britain.

The only solution that I can suggest is that the law should be changed so that they have 2 alternatives.

1) Deportation 

2) Remain in prison,for life if necessary.

Though child abuse occurs across all communities, I'm glad the victims are speaking up- even if years later.

 

The shame will be hard enough let alone the jail time- these people take advantage of the community around them, who trust them to teach their kids.
