Monkesreturn 219 #1 Posted August 12, 2023 (edited) Bramall Lane is now a sell out for today's game against Crystal Palace.... Now unlike some others, the intent of this topic is not an attendance competition! It is however a message. The Blades are charging just £30 an adult, to watch Premier League football!! We are protecting the working class, family ethos pf the club....as opposed to financially exploiting them!! Whilst arguably football as a whole is just way overpriced, I still believe that Sheffield United Football Club are attempting to stay competitive and to leep family football affordable. It all started with the once again reasonable season ticket prices!! We are leading the way!! We share the same city and very similar demographics Mr Chansiri! This is a majority working class city!! The majority of the fans have been around that club mich longer than you have and will remain there a long time after you leave!! Shame on you for charging so much to watch Championship football!... What justification do you possibly have for charging the fans more??... The signings have been pretty much free transfers, so this doesn't even reflect! cuttsie 1,091 #4 Posted August 12, 2023 No mention of the 150 million quid for Premier league payment or past parachute payments or massive transfer fees received . Perhaps they do not count when trying to run a club . Ok the price at Hillsbro is not acceptable but to compare it with a club that gets all the goodies with one that has been stopped from spending its own Chairman's money (now all gone ) perhaps the Saudi. Royals are the ones to take note eh!!!
 Share this content via...
NERVY-OWL 195 #5 Posted August 12, 2023 Nothing to do with the prize money you received last time you was up and the money you have just received again? I don't want to defend his pricing as it is too much and alot down to his bad running of the club but it's not as difficult for you to charge cheaper prices. Another season or two in the championship and you too could of been upping the prices.
 Share this content via...

Monkesreturn 219 #7 Posted August 12, 2023 Heard everything now! Where is the PL for the rest of the teams in the championship? They don't seem the need to charge the prices that chansiri does! If you lot want to price families and the future generation away from the club, then that's nothing short of comical!
 Share this content via...

Like I said it's also down to Chansiri bad running of the club that's brought it to this. All I'm saying is you can't compare United to us as compared to Wednesday you've had alot more income coming in, another season or two in the championship might of seen you having to raise prices. You mention other clubs, well maybe they have been ran better than ours to not need such high prices. I've said before the kids prices at least should be alot cheaper so we don't lose future generations
 Share this content via...
