No, you haven't. But I wasn't being clear. My bad.  I'm meaning for roads where emergency vehicles travel frequently. Their main routes as it were so that's near their depots, stations etc and also around hospitals . 

Sorry for not posting my OP in enough detail.

I don’t know about all the ideas but I get the ethos. There’s an entire bus lane from commonside to town and it’s empty for 55 minutes an hour during peak time.

 

needs smartening up.

Sorry, I don't follow. A cycle lane is by itself not wide enough for an emergency vehicle, but the road it's painted on is, so by removing the bike lane you create enough space for both cars and for emergency vehicles to pass?
