Is Friday the 13th really unlucky?

Recommended Posts

I'm slightly superstitious, I read my horoscopes and stuff. So is Friday the 13th unlucky? Or is it a load of garbage like that Cowpat place on Eccy Rd. :hihi:

Is walking under a ladder or putting shoes on a table, try em both and see how your day goes. :hihi:

well, my mother-in-law is staying with us for a while, and my wife was going to trim her nails last Friday. Mother in law said you do NOT cut nails on a Friday. I googled, and came up with this:

Cut your nails on a Monday, cut them for news;

Cut them on Tuesday for a new pair of shoes;

Cut them on Wednesday, cut them for health;

Cut them on Thursday, cut them for wealth;

Cut them on Friday, cut them for woe;

Cut them on Saturday, a journey you’ll go;

Cut them on Sunday, you cut them for evil,

For all the next week you’ll be ruled by the Devil.

and...

Sneeze on a Monday, you sneeze for danger;

Sneeze on a Tuesday, you kiss a stranger;

Sneeze on a Wednesday, you sneeze for a letter;

Sneeze on a Thursday, for something better;

Sneeze on a Friday, you sneeze for sorrow;

Sneeze on a Saturday, see your sweetheart tomorrow;

Sneeze on a Sunday, your safety seek,

For the Devil will have you the whole of the week.

I got my cat on Friday the 13th. He's black, and is always crossing my path. It's a miracle I haven't tripped over him yet :suspect:

I like cats.
