And what did I tell you earlier ?

If this happened in Manchester, they’d call it Modern Art and stick it in a museum.

But when in happens in Sheffield, they call it vandalism

Sheffield has plenty of "Tracey Emins". I know. :gag:

Just hang them in a tree and wait for the Tour de France to come back.

You have to admire the dedication to vandalism that results in painting a bike pink....

Thought that myself , but I think they are professional vandals down that way

It appears that there's now an Instagram group dedicated to Ofo bike spotting in Sheffield.

Saw 1 outside Shell garage in Handsworth and at least 3 in space of 100 yds in Attercliffe yesterday, first ones i'd seen but then again don't venture into Sheff much these days.

One outside the Parkway cafe Handsworth today being given the once over by two men in a Transit, such a close detailed examination that I thought theyd come to collect it but no - off they drove.

I've used them tonight, on the return journey I got through 6 bikes before I got one that was rideable.

I think I can see how ofo are making their money...

Has anyone else noticed yellow bikes that have been randomly adandoned?

I keep coming across them in Hillsborough / Stannington / Wisewood / Worrall areas..

Just this morning i drove passed one on Leppings Lane, it was proped up against the wall on the bridge..

Where have they come from?? SURELY it's not the same person!!!

That's the point of them. Use the bike for your journey, leave it for someone else to use.

They can be found using the app.

I came across 7 of them yesterday in different areas of Sheffield. These were dumped on main roads:loopy:

I see now, is it true they have trackers on them?

Apparently so. You need the App to unlock them. I've seen quite a few left damaged ?? And a bloke who got off one and threw it down.
