top4718 Â Â 838 #25 Posted February 13, 2017 If we had to make changes for this game it would be Lees if fit for Sasso, and give Wallace and Bannan a rest for Macca who has more pace and lets see what Abdi has to offer for ninety minutes, otherwise i would be o.k same again. Â I'd agree Alan but maybe keep Wallace in and give Bannan a break/Abdi a game.
 Share this content via...

Southey owl   10 #34 Posted February 14, 2017 (edited) The good news is that Tom Lees is being assessed ahead of tonights game. Also Gary Hooper. Steven Fletcher is available following his three-game ban. So with Jordan Rhodes and Sam Winnall linking up well against Birmingham i would hope Carlos goes with the same new strike force especially with them opening their goals account. With Morgan Fox impressing at left back in the Bristol and Birmingham games he has to again be given the starting shirt ahead of the Poodle. Assuming Lees gets the nod , then the only defensive problem area is the right back position. What i'd probably do is to play Sasso at right - back( yes i know some will not agree) but he can play that position. We can't keep playing the under performing Hunt and Palmer . Midfield . . . Hutchinson in front of the back - four , Bannan central, Reach out wide - left , Wallace out wide - right .  Forestrieri to the bench for a couple of games, think he will benefit by it.  So my starting X1 for tonight is . . . . .  Westwood  Sasso Lees Loovens Fox  Reach Hutchinson Bannan Wallace  Rhodes Winnall  Subs . . . .  Wildsmith, Palmer, McManaman, Abdi, Forestrieri, Hooper, Fletcher.  Lets get at em lads. Birmingham but can be a weak link, Sasso has done well so CC may not risk Lees if he's not 100%. Not sure if Sasso has played RB in his career before but its a shame to drop him after doing nothing wrong in the games he's played. Wallace has been excellent recently but I'd just change things slightly and see what Mc can do. Wallace an option from the bench.  The bench should be strong tonight though with good options
 Share this content via...
