Tess   10 #15 Posted November 25, 2016 You've got a few places in Sheffield City Centre - Steam Yard or Lucky Fox on Division Street for example.  Kelham Island, only a few minutes away also has quite a few - The Grind café, Thali Café or Depot Bakehouse.  Even the Wicker has a café/patisserie (La Perle) which is very good indeed.  Just outside of town lots of places are springing up on Abbeydale Road - Forge Bakehouse, Jamesons Tea Rooms, Four Corners Canteen etc.  There are plenty of places, its just a case of finding them - which, in my opinion - just adds to their charm! Simo81 Â Â 10 #16 Posted November 26, 2016 I've been back in Sheffield for a few years having moved away for a while. There is so much choice than when I left and places seem to open up fairly regularly. If you like Tamper and Marmadukes maybe try: Â Street Food Chef - Mexican (Arundel Street - the eat in one) The Holt (Further down Arundel street) Craft and Dough (behind Cathedral) Smoke BBQ (under the cheese grater car park) Showroom Cafe Oi Soi (new Chinese place next to Bill's) silversmiths (they do lunch / coffee etc in the day time now) Brood Cafe (up from the Harley) How St (next to Hallam Uni) Â A fair bit of choice there and not a Greggs or Subway in sight. Maquina   10 #17 Posted February 4, 2017 (edited) We have this one too..... Trafalgar Warehouse do pop-up Streetfood dining events throughout the year, dates are announced on their FB page (Trafalgar Warehouse or Streetfood Sheffield). They're always on a Monday 5-9pm. Next one is 13th Feb, then 6th and 27th March. Really good Streetfood, we went to the last one, about 8 vans to choose from and drinks offers at the bar. Beat up with good grub and music...and it's indoors. 120 Trafalgar Street, S1 4JT. Edited February 4, 2017 by Maquina
 Share this content via...

Shazbat   10 #22 Posted February 5, 2017 Lunchtime service in most places is rubbish, there's no concept that the customers might just be on the clock and not everyone gets flexi!
 Share this content via...
Dan_Ashcroft   10 #23 Posted February 10, 2017 Edisons near the Cathedral - http://www.edisonscoffee.co.uk/ The Cabin near Wickes - http://www.thecabin-sheffield.co.uk/ Hungry Buddha in Moor Market - http://hungrybuddha.co.uk/ The Holt on Arundel Street - http://theholtcafe.co.uk/  Have all opened in the last 6 months or so and bring some much welcome diversity and quality, in addition to Tamper and Marmadukes, as lunch options in town
 Share this content via...
