UKIP are a far bigger threat to Labour if recent voting is anything to go by (and I don't see what could a better guide).

As ukip are tories in essence or something of a cross between the Tories and BNP, I'm wondering what they will offer Labour areas? Other than stopping immigration etc??

Seems they are bigger in Tory southern areas in Kent and Essex etc than most places. The same places BNP did ok some years ago.

We wont end up there, but we are being forced there.

No decent person would vote for the vile tories, or the even viler UKIP.

But we have no representation now at all.

Corbyns sell out on brexit made me fume, he is a traitor to the socialist aim.

We had a socialist Europe within grasping distance, and he sold out.

Many labour leaders have done this in the past, but I expected more of him.

He has betrayed us, and rolled over to the fascists that have infiltrated the party.

To vote with the tories is unforgivable.

Fascists in the Labor Party??!?. Are you referring to the Blairite trolls lols ;p??

The end of the European Union will be good for all just as the break up of the Union will be. In the long run

Indeed, the main similarity 'tween the Kippers and Nick Griffin's band of gentle thugs is that they're only useful as a one-off protest vote for disaffected Northerners.

kind of disappointing really that it seems that the Tories are not really trying in Stoke. From what I've heard, it seems they are not going to have any ground game there, when really if they'd have tried, they surely might have stood a chance of coming out on top in a three way race with Labour votes also heading into the 4th placed Lib Dem column, and if the UKIP and Labour vote had split right for them.

I'm not a Tory but if I was, I'd so want to win a seat like Stoke. I'm sure that if they'd campaigned for it, they could have done it.

so cowardly to let UKIP in there too and give them a free run. Not just Labour. The Tories shouldn't want to give UKIP anything either.

I think that even though there must be at least some Tories that would dearly love to take Stoke, they're just skint and can't afford it. It costs money to get Tory MP's up from Westminster and knocking on doors and pacing up and down the High Street.

The Conservatives have a base vote of those that are wealthy, Labour are losing their base vote, fast.

Essentially, the vote for the rich is likely to win the next election, whilst all the other parties scrabble for the remaining votes, and split the vote.

How many rich people do you suppose there are?

What are you on??

Perhaps one of the reasons Jeremy Corbyn doesn't like the EU is because it forbids state aid in industry. Theoretically, the NHS model might not be compatible with future EU membership.

so moderate voices in the labour party are fascist if they don't want to lose the next election with Jeremy at the helm (I voted for him). seems some people have become unhinged since trump got elected.

Many people turned against the Labour Party because of their attitude towards those who bought their council house.

Enough people see through the politics of envy.

Growth-killing tax rates and wasteful nationalised industry hurts everybody.

His chances are already in jeopardy:

I know a few people who aren't voting for him in Stoke, they don't care for any "parachute" candidates. They want someone local first, political colour second.
