Car parking around children's hospital

Recommended Posts

The parking is so bad around the hospitals children's is just hopeless it's time they built a multi story car park across the road in the museum grounds there's plenty of room over there and still plenty of Greenland for people to enjoy parking is so important when you have sick children in the hospital

Could the roads take all the extra traffic that a multi story car park would generate?

they are building a new multi-storey that will service SCH.

There is also a deal and bus-link to the Q-Park at Castlegate.

Q-Park carpark down at Rockingham Street is a 10 min walk up to SCH as well.

Looking out of the window at that greenspace was the only thing that kept me sane last time one of my kids was in the Children's. They are building new car parking, and there is loads not too far away around the city centre. How do you think people got there before so many people had cars? Use your legs.

Why wasn't something figured into the plans when the Jessop wing was demolished, if the hospitals need parking then increasing the size of the hospital without increasing parking isn't going to do any good to anyone.

Having spent a lot of time at the children's over the last few years, I found the best place to park is down Marlborough road and the surrounding streets £2 for 4 hours.be careful tho as the wardens patrol regularly, so make sure you're not late back xx
