999tigger
Not sure the moving of the bodies is what accident investigators want. normally they leave them on site so everything cna be photographed. I think the rebels are interfering with the site as much as possible in an attempt to prevent an investigation finding out the cause.
Harleyman
Putin the Puta Tsar of all the Russias is already playing the blame game. He's suggesting that the missile could have been fired by the Ukrainians but the location from which it was fired is firmly in rebel held territory. I dont think that it was intentional to shoot down the aircraft. More than likely they mistook it for a Ukrainian military plane which they've been been trying to bring down here and there up to now. Certainly the missile crew were Russian trained and the missiles themselves of Russian origin. Maybe half the rebels are actually regular Russian military and it would be naive to believe otherwise that Putin is not pulling the strings. Anyway he's up to his neck in it now and he's worked enough mischief to reach this point.
999tigger
Still see if the west will bother doung anything. Easy for the US to threaten sanctions becayse they have little effect on the US. Euro sanctions will hurt europe in a big way as well, hence their reluctance to take any.

In that case if Putin decided to move his military forces across the border and occupy that part of the Ukraine then the EU will be equally reluctant to respond ? Nothing's changed in Europe since 1945. Still the same squabbling nationalism. the Balkans, Kosovo. Bosnia and now the Ukraine
BEDROCK
A Twitter bot that keeps watch on Wikipedia pages edited by those inside the Russian government spotted major changes to an entry about yesterday's crash of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, which killed all 298 people on board. The Telegraph reports that a Russian language page about Boeing 777 accidents that mentioned flight MH17 initially included language pointing to "terrorists" before being changed to "Ukrainian soldiers." Before the edit, the entry read: The plane [flight MH17] was shot down by terrorists of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic with Buk system missiles, which the terrorists received from the Russian Federation And after the edit — which occurred about an hour later — it simply said: The plane [flight MH17] was shot down by Ukrainian soldiers. http://www.theverge.com/2014/7/18/5917099/russia-spotted-editing-wikipedia-page-of-downed-malaysia-air-jet Edited July 20, 2014 by BEDROCK

Its a matter of fact that any sanctions announced by the US on Russia will have little economic on the US. Sanctions announced by Europe will also have big repurcussions on Europe. I dont doubt your statement. Just better hope that Putin isnt a man with an agenda... that is... to restore as much of the old Soviet Union as possible. He's also one of those Russians who still believes that his country is surrounded by potential enemies
