Women held as slaves in London for 30 years

Recommended Posts

tbh if they are a "leftist" cult im shocked we havent had a barrage of posts aligning ourselves to em lol

I haven't looked it up but I think they were lefties a few years ago, but they grew out of it unlike many lefties here in Sheffield.

Still spouting outdated 70's drivel :hihi:

Marxists! Well I wasn't expecting that one. I don't understand why the police are so slow in releasing details when people want news of this surprising case. The details they release pose more questions than they answer.

It seems the most bizzare political group to have slaves. I can imagine some tax dodging capitalist (including but not limited to, the heads of amazon - read this http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/business-25034598) but equality seeking (I think!) Marxists ?? Very odd.

It sounds like they were being held captive by Billy Liar.

The elderly couple accused of holding three women as domestic slaves in south London for 30 years had been leading lights in a cult-like far-left political group which worshipped the Chinese revolutionary Mao Zedong and believed that their area of south London was on the verge of being liberated by China's Red Army.

Sounds about right to me - evil thieving scum. Controlling people and what they want to do has always been the communist/socialist way

I might suggest "Animal Farm" by George Orwell as a recomended book here.

Maoists have long been involved in terrorist activities in India and Nepal. Indian authorities have a constant fight on their hands with these activists who are a well organised ruthless organisation. They claim to fight against capitalism but their method of protest is extreme, mass killing, burning villages, beheading captured police personnels, ripping out railway tracks etc.
