Are race riots in Sheffield imminent?

Recommended Posts

And the number of houses? That statistic is harder to get but just think of why green-belt zone laws were introduced.

I get your point though, of course there are more people in the country, but whilst that is a significant number, the economy has grown with far more than 25% over that same time - almost all people in the UK are far better off now than they were 40 years ago, something that is all to easily forgotten.

@Happ Hazard

Of course households are smaller, sure there is still a number of people sharing houses in a non-traditional household set-up but that has always been the case, lodgers are not a thing of the last few decades, nor are student-houses.

In the mean-time the number of single-person households (ie. occupying a house) is growing all the time due to numerous demographic issues (we are getting older, sometimes on our own, there are far more divorces etc.).

Only 2.27% of the UK is built on. There is far too much green and brown space in the UK and not enough homes, therefore we must build on it.

race riots? in sheffield? no way. Sheffield is way too good for that!

Yes way, Sheffield hates 'others' and they need a scape goat to blame for their own short comings on.

Which is why there were no riots in Sheffield in 2011, the EDL have never marched in Sheffield and the BNP used to be a standing joke here before they disappeared! lol

You make comments like this, but you put nothing forward,

Why would Sheffielders want to riot,

We tend to get on with each other, we do moan n groan just like any other city,

but we get over it and get on with our lives & with each other,

Have you seen how the population of the UK has grown over the past 40 years? About a 25% increase...

UK population in 2013 - 62.74 million.

UK population in 1973 - 56.16 million.

That is not a 25% increase. 25% of 56.16 is about 14 which would mean there'd now be a UK population of 70 million. Stop making things up.

The guy who attacked Sean Baxendale and put him in a coma was Blackburn EDL regional organiser, Bernard Holmes.

But how was it anything to do with the EDL?

See if you can work it out.

There is absolutely no way that the current UK population is only 62.74 million.

Have you been round and counted up? Or are you just paranoid?
