Good old days eh ?I remember Jack and Frank Vaughan being arrested for giving their names to a young copper who pulled over a car they were passengers in. The young cop thought they were taking the p**s,and nicked the pair of them, and ended up being made to look stupid at the station ,where it was established their names were, indeed, Jack Frost and Frankie Vaug han. Steptoad   12 #79 Posted September 2, 2014 clean/ lee, was a early druids mc member, but wasnt in the club very long but he always remained a loyal and good friend of the club. unfortunatlely lee died of cancer quite a few years ago now...r.i.p bud.    Thanks for the info Moz, sad news about Lee, I always liked him.  I remember the first time I saw him, my mates and I had been to an all night biker movie show at the Classic Cinema. On the bus home we sat upstairs and loudly expounded our theories on biker club rituals and initiations. Every now and then a bloke at the front of the bus would turn around and look at us with a bemused expression. When I got off the bus, I noticed he was behind me, he followed me all the way home and I began to wonder if we'd revealed a few club secrets and I had to be "kept quiet":hihi: What I didn't realise at the time, was that Lee lived at the bottom of my road. Jim117   72 #81 Posted February 22, 2021 When god was handing out noses,Tiny thought he said  roses and asked for a big red one. Club joke from the 80’s. Snake (Brian) had a beautiful king python about 10 feet long. He rode a 750/4 black hard tail stock rake low rider similar to the one I had a few years later except mine had an XS 650 engine. Glinn (sp?) lived at sharrow or nether edge I can’t remember which. He had a mildly customised honda 550 (club entry level bike) but was building his dream XS 850 triple in his flat. He had a polecat that liked to lay on your shoulders while you were socialising and sharing “refreshments “.
 Share this content via...
