I know its not Sheffield footy, but he was at Donny: couldn't believe this.

They are pushing for the play offs and had just put 4 past L***s

And playing the trademark stylish football.

Makes "trigger happy" Milan look like Private Godfrey in comparison.

Give over ! Have they sacked him really ? I genuinely am stunned by that .

Yep, sacked. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/dec/26/nottingham-forest-sean-odriscoll-sack

Nottingham Forest have sacked their manager Sean O'Driscoll just hours after a 4-2 home win over Leeds United left the club one point adrift of the Championship play-off places. The owners Fawaz al-Hasawi and Abdulaziz al-Hasawi say they have made the decision because they want a manager with "Premier League experience".

O'Driscoll, who left Crawley in the summer to take over at the City Ground, leaves Forest eighth in the table. The Forest chairman, Fawaz al-Hasawi, admits the timing of O'Driscoll's departure is unfortunate.

"We cannot speak highly enough of Sean as a man," he told the club's website. "He was appointed at an extremely difficult time for the club and can count himself unlucky to have lost his job with the team just one point away from the top six. But we have a responsibility to look to the future for this great club because we have huge ambitions for it.

"We knew when we bought the club in the summer that it would take time for the players we bought in to settle but that process has taken longer than we anticipated.

"We feel we have developed a really strong squad of players but are still searching for consistency in terms of team performance, underlined by the fact that we have not won more than two games in succession in the Championship this season. And with the January transfer window approaching, we feel it's the right time to make a change.

"We are looking to bring in an ambitious manager with Premier League experience."

New owners usually mean new plans and ambition.

It's a club with a rich history and in the hands of Arab owners who will invest big to get club back in to Premiership.

If you listen carefully up to heaven, you can hear the likes of Hagan, Matthews, Finney and Bobby Moore banging on the table of despair upon hearing such news !

Disgraceful, where will the game be in 20 years time ?

Where the game will be in 20 years is the biggest worry .
