sirglyn Posted July 21, 2008 Share Posted July 21, 2008 The songwriter Jerry Dammers lived in Sheffield for 8 years during his early childhood (age 2-10) so I guess you could make a case for him being from Sheff.After all,his earliest memories would have been of our fair city.If you're going to include Sheffield born parents of people who became famous then we have got to nominate Queenie Epstein,mother of Brian Epstein who discovered the Beatles.
