Roy Jones 10 #1 Posted May 19, 2012 Has anyone else had flight delays with Thomas Cook? We flew with Thomas Cook for the first time on the 2nd May from Manchester airport to Turkey. We had an eight hour delay, as compensation we got a £3 voucher to spend (wow the price of a cup of coffee). Then on the way home we had an hour and half delay. We got told that Thomas Cook flights from Manchester were well known for delays, so just wondering if anyone else had delays with them. dvp82 10 #4 Posted May 20, 2012 I would think now that the summer holiday season is upon us, aircraft utilisation at airlines like Thomas Cook is going to be very high and the fact they only have a small fleet of planes, should a flight be delayed for whatever reason, it will have a knock on effect as they will have limited ability to juggle aircraft around. Ghostrider 11 #6 Posted May 20, 2012 I have always used Monarch to fly to turkey, never had a problem. Was expecting a delay when we went on the 7th May (with it being our honeymoon, it was sods law)) but everything went perfectly...
