andygardener
Nipped in yesterday for a couple of things and that is the last chance given. Complete and utter star wars bar of a place. Fun as it is to witness some cleetus sort spitting directly at his "partner" who thern proceeded to return the compliment, that's not my idea of a shopping experience. Scutts
I use this Asda 3 or 4 times a week and have done since it opened. I have never seen a shoplifter being manhandled. I have never seen any worse behaviour than I do in any other supermarket. I have never been bothered by kids hanging around the entrance. The shopping experience is no different to any Morrisons or any other Asda I have been in. People slate it because it's in Parson Cross and for no other reason! Penguinpat
Hi, I've been reading a thread about the New Asda on Chaucer. I'd also read about the changes to the road and some accidents. So thought I'd ask on here what the script was. If I'm driving up chaucer road from the old closed Ritz Bingo. When I hit the roundabout I stay in the left lane which from my understanding is marked STORE and the rest is as easy as peas to get into Asda? When I leave Asda and want to turn right to go back down Chaucer towards the roundabout at the bottom where the old closed Ritz Bingo is. Anyone can advise what lane etc I need? I've not been up there since the changes so thought I'd ask. thanks
ninjadave
Well, when leaving the store you would be making a right turn so you want to be in the right hand lane. Pretty much like every other roundabout where you want to turn right.
Isabelle
I think the issue is when people are coming off Halifax Road and turning right on the second roundabout (which is my route). When coming off the roundabout to go into the store, you have to cross into the outside lane. It's not hard, you just have to check your mirrors, which you should be doing anyway. Penguinpat
Thanks. I'd just read the other thread and for some reason it seemed like they'd make it complicated. Also read that some driving instructor was not sure. So my route is simple by the sounds, like you said as normal. So no problemo. Thanks for replying

Kerrangaroo
This post goes some way in explaining the hold ups in traffic if people stop to go on line to check what to do next.
