  3. Absolutely Mrs Brown Kieth Lemon rubbish, also loved Dinner Ladies and Early Doors, Royle Family, didn't like the later ones of the Royles though!
  4. I also like This Country although I don't bust a gut laughing! havnt actually done that since the 80s and 90s only fools, faulty towers,and later stuff with Peter Kay!

  7. Its a very sad and strange case, I cant imagine what the dogs owners are going through! they become a part of the family, but sadly I think they are probably dead after all this time,
  8. I cant get my head around this storyline with Yasmeen she has always come across as this strong woman, then marries jeff and starts letting him control her every move! is this logical!

  12. I also enjoyed the movie very atmospheric, although some people have been offended by the use of the Gary Glitter song I think it was a good choice, and from what I have read people have walked out because of the violence which I didn't feel was too bad.

  14. Hi Thank you both for the replies, yes my mother was Doris Brown and married a Mr Scofield, I think he was killed in the war, think she married Horace Yates in December 1943. Had my oldest sister Christine in January 1944, my mum was born in March 1919. Thanks Pennyx
  15. hi this is a long shot if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated, my parents are both deceased, my fathers name was Horace Yates born 1909? don't remember his parents first names, he had a brother Walt and sister Mabel, my mother was Doris Brown she was married before my father and became Scofield, she lived on Melville Road Attercliffe had sister Evelyn and Brothers Sam Frank Jack Raymond her father was Sam mothers name has slipped my mind she was born in 1919, when she married my dad they moved to Pearl Street and had Christine Lesley, Jennifer Margaret, Penelope Anne but I have reason to believe there may have been other children that were given up for adoption, its that I need the help with, I just don't know how to start looking! thanks for taking the time and having the patience to read this!   16. I worked at Willesden optical on Matilda Street 1970 to 73, don't recall ever hearing of Sheaf optical had it closed by then!

  20. We went to Butlers Balti house had a lovely meal, even though it was packed the service was second to none and not as expensive as I was expecting1 will definately be my choice in future.
