curriechick
My niece used to live at Goose Butt Lane at Rawmarsh she now lives at Bear Tree Road again in Rawmarsh. There is Honeypot Lane near Graves Park I imagine it is a place where Winne the Pooh would live.

GodStar
I find street names fascinating.. Cut Throat Bridge on the Snake Pass is called so because a man was found with his throat cut there (or at its previous incarnation) 400 years ago. One I've always wondered about is Cockshott Lane in Deepacr? How did that get its name? Any other gems of local street name knowledge? The more gruesome the better
