Agent Orange
All my friends are either married with families or dating and have made their plans already Not good. Have you got family?
Flowersfade
Just an expensive time of the year, where many folks get into debt, and spend the rest of the year getting out of it. Regards Angel. How sad for you. You don't have to spent £100's on it. It should be family time spent with loved ones.

twibstix
Congratulations to Little Boots. As for Christmas, I loathe it. Hellmas was cancelled years ago in mine and my parents house, no tree, no cards, no presents for anyone (including the 2 year old niece), what's the point in wasting money I can I'll afford on folk who do not appreciate it? In the case of the niece, I can guarantee she has never worn anything this side of the family bought her and has only been given one of the toys that we bought for her. IF I have any spare cash, I will treat myself to something pretty and the dogs to something tasty.
poppins
I'm looking forward to it for a change of pace, very festive at work, with very few gift to buy now everyones grown , but I always feel sorry for people that have to buy toys from "Father Christmas" for their litle ones and worry about having to pay for it all after Christmas , the little ones don't understand their toys cost money

That's a shame - Shame too that you feel a few fairy lights and a meal for your whole family aren't worth bothering with... Christmas doesn't have to be expensive, and it's a huge release for me this year just to do nice things for my close peeps and prepare some nice home baked whatnots for my visitors! I am brasic and this isn't taking much more cash than food generally costs...
twibstix
No animosity towards my niece, she's a child!! I don't see the point in joining in with the frivolities, knowing that it's all, for us at least, fake and I refuse to waste cash for folk to then literally throw the presents in the bin, not even donate them to a charity. I would much rather steer clear and have my rare time off to myself. Good for anyone who wants to celebrate but good for me in sticking to my principles after years of trying to fit in with others. No not towards, re as in regarding... Bad times - It shouldn't be fake to enjoy time with family or friends... Maybe you will fall in with a crowd some day that make you see how great it can be to spend time with people you genuinely have love and affection for... Often, these days this isn't family, but close mates... You'll see what people get out of being with others and enjoying a meal together
