aliceBB
Yes. Try Nicola Stone: ns@netheredgelaw.co.uk. Quick, reliable, local, and competitive quotations. Isn't Nether Edge Law your own company?
jaffacake
Just used Taylor and Emmet, very good, and got a quote at the beginning that was exactly what i paid for, nothing hidden. Would recommend
Jeffrey Shaw
Isn't Nether Edge Law your own company? No (i.e. it's my firm's name, but it's not a company). As my specialist subject is conveyancing research, though, I do not generally handle residential conveyancing.
aliceBB
No (i.e. it's my firm's name, but it's not a company). As my specialist subject is conveyancing research, though, I do not generally handle residential conveyancing. So you are recommending someone who works for your own firm? Perhaps it would be helpful to make that clear, or is that why you have chosen to remove your signature strip from your posts in this thread? Why the subterfuge? Strix
I need someone to do the conveyancing on a house sale. Anybody got any recommendations. I'd go for either a local solicitor or might try an online company. On-line ones look cheaper but I'd love to hear if anyone has any experience of these. And are they really cheaper than the local guys.I'd never use anything other than a local solicitor with local knowledge, so when we moved up here from Peterborough we had a P'boro' solicitor for the sale and a Sheffield solicitor for the purchase There are problems with mining subsidence and numerous old rubbish tips in South Yorkshire, and you want every possible chance of making sure you get the right info My sister is buying elsewhere in the country ATM. Although she's had a full survey done, the solicitor mentioned in passing that there are often problems with the floors in the street she's buying in. She wouldn't have got that info from an online solicitor

Evei
I can see the signature strip. Can't you? For some reason on post number 2 it has cut off your signature. I think it is something to do with the adverts and not your fault If the opinion is right, they are deprived of the opportunity of exchanging error for truth. If wrong, they lose, what is almost as great a benefit, the clearer perception and livelier impression of truth, produced by its collision with error JS Mill
