Bricks for building a BBQ!

I'm looking at building a brick bbq and wondered if anyone has any bricks they need to get rid of to help me on my way!

 

Also any top tips on building a bbq would be appreciated!

just built a 7' high one...well my friend has for me, we went around looking in skips etc, loads of useful bricks.

oops. i meant, take a look in skips etc, loads of useful bricks (as in thats where i got mine from) sorry about that....try freecycle too, i got a load wth old cement on, but comes off easy.

 

if you want to look at the one i have (picked up a few do's and donts') you can see if it you want, im at firth park.

Freecycle is a good place, people always getting rid of bricks and such like

I have some bricks you can come and collect and also in S12

put a wanted post in the classifieds always some going

Only use engineering bricks as facing bricks can blow when hot and the last thing you want is half house brick hitting a guest in the face at your bbq

 

That is if you think it will get mega hot
