And it wouldn't solve the problem as the parents who adopt the children will be able to claim exactly the same benefits as the natural parents. I don't think Paul2412 has really thought this one through.

They can claim more, If I'm right there are some places that hand out a £450 a week adoption payment curtesy of the tax payer (and on top of normal benefit entitlements).

In fact I remember once going to western supermare and someone was handing out flyers that basically said, "want to earn £450 a week, then why not think about adopting".

They would be vetted to ensure that they can provide for the child... Common sense?

I guess your option is do nothing, let it keep happening and brush it under the carpet? Then when the parents of 23 children demand another car, larger house and huge food bill I'll direct them to you who will only be too happy to pay for it.

They already are being vetted, and still get the £450 a week.

The way forward for people wanting to rip off the system is child swap adoptions.

I take it you only do plumbing jobs for people with 2 kids. :hihi:

Oh and I hope you put all the cash jobs through your books. ;)

Good luck. :hihi:

:) That's my dad's business :P

To clarify, what I meant was that benefits shouldn't increase based on the number of children you have after you've already had two. If you want a third child then it's a conscious decision by yourself that you can afford to bring up that child, and if it comes to the case where you cannot adequatly support your children then Social Services should intervene to review the options.

I didn't say they were not a problem, if you read my post properly it says they are not the bulk of the problem. Which, they are not because there are thousands more 'white British scroungers'. I didn't think that it would be that difficult to understand.

With regards to the tens of thousands of immigrants milking the system you talk of, If people are staying in Britain legally they are entitled to certain benefits the same as everyone else. If people are here illegally, they can not claim anything and are not entitled to anything.

so they now gone down to not been the bulk of the problem ?but still a problem dont you think ?with regards to the tens of thousands milking the system legally, then do you not think that seeing as they havent paid into the system its ok for them to take it out ?

Why bring a child into the world if you can't look after it?

Who is doing that? You are barking at shadows. In fact - strike 'shadows'.

I cant decide if you can not read properly or are purposely not linking all the posts i have made on this subject.

I have maintained through out my post that:

There are tens of thousands more white british people on benefits than the ethnic minorities you speak of.

That the main bulk of the problem with 'scroungers' are the white british population who are on benefits. They are the main problem because there are more of them.

I have never once said that the ethnic minorities who claim benefits are not a problem.

Can you answer, how many of the white british scroungers have 'paid into the system'. Why are these people any different to others who are legally allowed to reside in the country??

i can read very well thank you. no i cant answer your question of how many white british scroungers have paid into the system (can you ) in the same way can you tell me how you think its ok to take out of the pot something they havent put into ? in a ideal world people who can work would and people who cannot work for whatever reason would be entitled to benefits paid for by the taxes the working population pay in. also the couple in question are a good advert for whats wrong in this country(living on benefits) against working for a living. this is also a good advert for anyone coming to this country to do the same (or cant you see that ). this dosent happen anywhere else in europe (maybe they are doing something right).so get off your high horse and read into it what you like i dont care

Don't blame the seagulls; blame those who feed your chips to them.

How?

If the natural parents clearly cannot afford to look after another child then the child is put up for adoption at birth. There are already processes in place to vet anyone who is looking to adopt.

The result is that the scrounging parents realise that they can no longer use their kids as cash cows and somebody else can finally have the child they've been wanting.

Have you got a square moustache and a crooked cross above your bed ? :hihi:

Your not seriously suggesting that being out of work means your deprived of your kids ?

Have you any other bright ideas like bringing back the work house or proclaiming people mentally ill and incarcerating them for being poor ?
