One to one teaching will take place at our school in Ecclesfield.  You will need to available to work a minimum of 45 weeks per year; we are open on bank holidays. If working in local schools and colleges you must ensure that your annual leave does not coincide with classes being conducted at their premises. DBS check (If not able to provide this the school will complete a check on your behalf. You must have a clean record) Experience of teaching would be preferred, however a training programme is available. Ongoing regular training sessions are in place for all teachers whilst working a Harmony Music School. I charge £10 for an hour lesson, £5 for a half hour lesson. I can travel to your house or you can learn at my house (I've got a collection guitars and amps you can use if that's easier) in the S10 area. Parents are more than welcome to sit in on lessons.  What I can teach:  - A thorough knowledge of scales, modes and music theory. - How to learn your favourite songs by ear. - How to improvise. - How to sight read. - How to develop your technique and play faster and cleaner. - A range of techniques than will improve your muscianship (finger tapping, sweep picking, hybrid picking and more). - Grades 1 - 8 in the Rock School and Trinity syllabi. - Pieces in the following styles: rock, blues, jazz, classical, metal, shred, country, pop, punk and just about anything else you can think of.  Search for 'Richard Lidster' on youtube for videos of me playing if you're interested (I'm not allowed to post links until I've made 5 posts).  Contact: 0754 266 7040 Email: [email protected]  - Thanks, Richard Lidster. I am CRB checked so welcome all ages. I have a full P.A. system set up in my teaching room on Ecclesall Road. So i do one off lessons for kareoke singers, i do courses that range from beginners to proffesional. I also help with people to improve their set lists. I have a very easy teaching type that allows you to progress at your own speed. I have had vocal training for 10 years and I have taught people that are sucessfull on the music scene in bands etc... I dont travel but I live right next to a bus stop. If your interested then message me, my rates are very competitive. I do all day saturday and some week nights after 4. Rock and Pop school curriculum up to Grade 8 + GCSE level teaching.  Also, author of Pro Guitar School Advanced Rock book and CD which sold through national Guitarist magazine, including advanced lead styles.  Gigged regularly 2005 - 2014 at Universities, Weddings, Halls, Small and Large Music venues.
