*** ELECTRIC GUITAR LESSONS - Beginners to Advanced *** *** BASS GUITAR - Beginners to Intermediate *** Hi there, my name's Steve and I offer friendly, fun and high level teaching of most electric guitar styles for all ages and levels. I've taught Guitar and Bass at Sheffield Springs Performing Arts Academy (Springs Comprehensive/6th Form, 11 to 18-year-olds for the past 8 years and am fully CRB checked. Rock and Pop school curriculum up to Grade 8 + GCSE level teaching. Also, author of Pro Guitar School Advanced Rock book and CD which sold through national Guitarist magazine, including advanced lead styles. Gigged regularly 2005 - 2014 at Universities, Weddings, Halls, Small and Large Music venues. Songwriter for SHE band - playing bass, guitar, and keys + Composition of songs, recording on Boss 16-track, mixing, engineering etc. I teach up to Rock/ Pop School grade 8 level on Plectrum Guitar and my styles are mainly blues, rock, Indie, Pop, neo-classical picking etc. Fast modal runs, sweeps, chordal strumming techniques. Learning should be FUN and that's what my aim is...to have a great time and get the most out of playing. Lessons are £15 for 40 minutes in the S10/S11 areas but may be willing to travel to other locations in SHEFFIELD and ROTHERHAM, depending where.
