mightysimo Posted June 5, 2009 Share Posted June 5, 2009 I was watching channel 4 and against all my hopes I saw the big brother eye, ushering in a new series of cheap horrible television which is dumbing down our nation. Does anyone still watch or like big brother? I have never liked it, but could understand its initial appeal, but after so many series surely its wearing a little thin now? Also, does anyone know when its set to start? I go to europe for a month and a half at the end of june, so hopefully I may completely miss any exposure to it. I completly agree with you, the first 3 where pretty good, but after that it just got worse and worse. I'm sick of it taking up all the news headlines. I don't give a crap what they have done in real life, they are all a bunch of over eccentric, annoying, attention seeking people who are not true to themselves and only after the easy way to stardom...acting an idiot... mightysimo Posted June 5, 2009 Share Posted June 5, 2009 Loving hating all the posters on Sheffield Forum who come on this thread to tell us how much they hate the show and won't be watching it, yet they seem to know the housemates and where they are from and how weird they are because they watched Big Brother last night!?!?! I haven't watched it since the 4th started and only watched half of the 3rd. I hate these type of shows, including "I'm a celebrity get me out of here!" and whatever else ones are out there...im sorry to say to people who watch, you need to find a better hobbie, rather then watching 'guinea pigs in a box'. Thankfully I realised the error of my ways early. Unfortunatly Channel 4/E4 have not and all the 'normal' programs I used to watch will now be replaced with this crap! I was also unfortunate to not realise till this morning when I was reading through the Metro on the tram as normal and my eyes nearly melted when I can across the 16 contestants, none of them look 'normal', I thought it was supposed to be a reality show!? Exactly. No one would be complaining so much if it didnt take up so much of the C4 and E4 schedule. Are there people that seriously tune in and watch these muppets sleep? I have to admit its a bit of a guilty secret, Really feel I shouldnt be watchng it, but its on at just the right time of an evening when I am sitting down, eventually!
