Loops   10 #4 Posted January 3, 2009 There is someone in the town centre that does unlocking - near Debenhams or there is one at Sheffield Lane Top near the Pheasant pub. I have unlocked a phone myself online before but I know that some phones need specialist equipment.
 Share this content via...

alternageek   10 #6 Posted January 3, 2009 Ive used Phones R Us on Chapel Walk with 4 of my phones and they were very good. I think the most I paid with them was £20 for my KRZR and they had to send it out as motorola have cracked down on unlocking. Had it back to me in less than 24 hours. bigthanks   10 #8 Posted January 3, 2009 Try Xtreme Mobiles outside Castle Market.  I personally think he is a rip off, charged me £20 to get my phone unlocked, if I had shopped around I could have got it much much cheaper. A friend of mine has just used a shop in hillsborough and it cost her £10.
 Share this content via...
njnj   10 #9 Posted January 3, 2009 you can sometimes do it with magic numbers from the internet - you find your make and model of phone then get a number to enter in on the keypad. Worked on my daughter's phone but not mine :-(  You only get a few goes before the phone locks up so be careful...
 Share this content via...
