We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience. All services are operating on their normal routes at present (except those listed below). If any side road is inaccessible then buses will be using main roads only. First South Yorkshire (Sheffield) Due to conditions, all Sheffield services will operate only on main roads, they will not be operating via any estate roads. First are operating their buses as best they can but if conditions continue as they are there is a strong possibility of the services being withdrawn. If your journey is not necessary do not go. Stagecoach Barnsley Starting to be hit badly. Only service off so far is Penistone School Bus as the school is now closed. Expect cancellations later, especially in hillier and outer-lying areas. Not serving out lying areas such as Penistone, Stocksbridge, Bolsterstone AT ALL. First South Yorkshire (Doncaster) All services running , Delays along Bawtry Road (50+mins) and Thorne Road (20+mins) Stagecoach (Chesterfield) At present services are out and running but road conditions are bad and they are having substantial problems. Stagecoach (Worksop) Their services are managing but are only serving main roads. Service 19 - not operating on Whitegate estate. Just serving main roads. Dunn Line A1 is missing out Sheffield Airport road and staying on Europa Link. Arriva Yorkshire Everything operating at present. Please listen to Local radio for details of services affected by snow. All main roads currently open, some untreated side roads may cause some delays. Little Buzz Posted February 5, 2009 Share Posted February 5, 2009 Those pics look fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The snow on the fields won't affect the cars I'm serious! Look at the proper highways agency link. The whole motorway is moving nicely at 50Mph ish on average. I've just come down the M1 from the M18 to the Parkway and it is fine - slower than normal, and there are idiots driving too fast and too close (that's you in the blue X3) or without lights (and that's you in the Almera) but basically it's ok.
