What is Sheffield missing??

Recommended Posts

Hey you might be onto something there. Where are the museums in Sheffield? Lets take visitors to the city as an example. These museums (if Sheffield has any) are not actually well advertised

There's the general museum at Weston Park, sadly missed now it's been turned into a pre-school creche.

There's Kelham Island mueum of metal trades, being refurbished after it was flooded. I just hope they don't kiddify it like Weston Park.

The Ruskin Museum, converted to a bar and the remnants relegated to a tiny gallery in the Millenium Galleries.

Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet - not the same since they don't have working days any more due to health and safety nazis.

Ummm? Shepherds Wheel - open every third Tuesday in February.

The Turner Museum of Glass - actually good
