Guest Guest Posted February 12, 2003 Share Posted February 12, 2003 I've only recently moved to Sheffield, and wondered if anyone can recommend a good restaurant (money no object, more or less!) in the city centre to go for a friendly, nice, relaxing meal on Valentines day? Moon Maiden Posted February 12, 2003 Share Posted February 12, 2003 I would say Mama Amalfi's in meadwhall. It is upstairs in the Oasis and opens late so you won't have the shoppers. *Twinkle* Posted February 12, 2003 Share Posted February 12, 2003 I agree, amalfi's is lovely! The food is divine, the service is excellent and thw whole layout is really romantic! Another good one is Maso's in the city centre. (close to the theatres) I went there a month ago :-) The overall presentation was excellent, the staff were really friendly and even the chef came out to see if we'd enjoyed our meal :-) Impressive!
