I can Confirm this is true, the other dog was signed over to the police and was adopted within literally seconds to a good home. In all my years at meadowhall that's one of the worst day ever.

did it a few weeks ago so its fresh in the memory. - start with pen-y-gent - pace yourself between whernside and pen-y-gent if it has been raining the ground is very very boggy and you will be up to your knees in places. -once the ascent to the top of ingelbrough becomes like the top of pen-y-gent just keep going,put it all in and get there once your at the top you have about 4/5 miles back to the end but its all down hill and pedestrian. -get some good steep hill walking in for prep - and when hungry,tired and thirsty ... avoid the golden lion in horton in ribblesdale the food is shocking £8.50 for lasagna,cold chips and cold veg, the bunk house is dirty and smells and the beer is overpriced.
