My Mum has got a faux leather jacket and the belt that's come with it is too tight for her liking. Problem is finding eyelets that match the existing ones to extend it. Tried Hobbycraft and all sorts of places on the high street and had no joy as the eyelets needed have very little depth compared to the ones you can buy. Eyelets on the web are too big too. The only idea I have its to file down the eyelets we've got to a depth of around 3mm but we haven't got any suitable tools. Can anybody advise us or even help? Please don't say "try Timpsons or a cobblers" as we have to no avail. By the way, width needs to be 7mm. Thanks.

I hope the people involved are alright. I was wondering why there's loads of traffic on Constable Road. -
Alright, thanks. No, I won't tell anyone I know. £146.9 for unleaded, the most I've seen so far. I was going there as a last resort as suspect Morrisons petrol station at Meadowhead will be very busy or without fuel.

I believe the Total petrol station at Gleadless Townend has ran out of fuel. I was going to go there as I'm running low. Does anyone know anywhere that has petrol around Gleadless?

Hey all. My Grandad currently has carers from Direct Health to assist him with his medication. Me and my mum are now looking for another private carers as we are fed up with the continuous poor service we're getting from Direct Health. For example, last night, a carer didn't turn up until 11pm (3 hours late)! One mistake after an other. So yeah. Can anybody recommend a good private care company?

Meadowhead without a doubt. I left Newfield in 2008 and I hated it there!

Great news. I'm glad she's safe. -
The gusts have been around 65mph according to sheffieldweather.co.uk. I heard the winds are going to ease slightly later on today.

So sorry to hear about your loss. My deepest sympathy to you, your daughter and your family. Stay strong. -
I highly recommend Harrison Cameras too. I bought a Canon 20D from there a couple of months ago. I've had no problems with it so far

The rain/sleet/snow from earlier has frozen to ice. Be careful!
-
Good chance I think if any rain comes tonight/overnight/tomorrow morning, it will fall as snow. When I got back home about 2 hours ago, my car was showing 3c. Probably be at freezing point now.

Driving without insurance

OP has said. Insure insurance. -
Around 1:30pm this afternoon, I was at the traffic lights at the Birley Moor Road crossroad with Birley Lane and Sheffield Lane. I turned left onto Birley Lane and saw a horrible sight. It appeared that a dark brown cat was fitting on the road in front of the traffic lights. It obviously had been run over by something and whatever did, just drove on! I saw a guy attending to the cat and kindly removed it from the road. But with this caused a even more distressing sight as blood seem to be pouring from the poor cat. Seeing all this plus blood sprayed on the kerb, I couldn't help but burst into tears as I'm a cat lover and have one myself. I wanted to pull up somewhere and help, but after seeing the all the blood and the cat supposedly fitting, I guess there was nothing I could do but get even more upset. I do want to thank the guy that moved the poor cat and prevented anymore distress and pain to it. I don't know if he uses this forum but its worth a try. I'm guessing now the owner is wondering where their cat is if it did belong to somebody. I also hope its not just laying dead next to the traffic lights if it did die
